About Texas Sleep Medicine: At Texas Sleep Medicine, we are dedicated to improving the sleep health of our patients. Led by Dr. Ashwin Gowda, we specialize in diagnosing and treating a variety of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia, snoring, and restless legs syndrome. Our friendly and professional team works closely to provide the best care and outcomes for patients in South Austin. We are currently seeking a Sleep Technician to join our growing team. Prior experience in sleep medicine is required - we provide additional on-the-job training to individuals who are eager to continue building a career in healthcare. Job Description: As a Sleep Technician, you will be responsible for conducting sleep studies, monitoring patients overnight, and recording sleep data to assist in the diagnosis of sleep disorders. This is a critical role in ensuring accurate data collection and contributing to the development of effective treatment plans. Key Responsibilities: Set up, monitor, and collect data during night sleep studies Use specialized equipment to record and analyze sleep-related data Collaborate with medical team members to support patient care Participate in ongoing training and professional development Accurate completion of required clinical documentation Work three 12-hour overnight shifts per week Qualifications: Strong interest in healthcare and patient care Ability to work overnight shifts (12 hours, 3 nights/week) Excellent communication and teamwork skills CPSGT or RPSGT credentials preferred What We Offer: Comprehensive Training Competitive Pay/ Bonus 401(k) with Matching Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Continuing Education allowance Supportive Environment Texas Sleep Medicine is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
