Department here at BAE Systems. CEMA is focused on next-generation
threat detection, countermeasure, and attack solutions to provide
customers with full-spectrum electronic warfare capabilities to
enhance mission survivability.Required Education, Experience, &
Skills The Senior Designer position we are seeking to fill requires
15+ years of experience in the Mechanical Design Drafting
profession, with a minimum 3 years specifically assigned Senior
role, to work in the Austin, Texas area. You will be part of a
Design & Drafting Community working with the latest CAD Technology
and Processes who are always forward planning with Industry
professionals to define future of CAD capabilities as well as its
support of Model Based Engineering via Model Based Definition. You
also will advance your technical skills while performing your
assigned responsibilities on development projects and supporting
our existing product portfolio. As a minimum, an associates degree
in Mechanical design/drafting including various CAD platforms.
Familiarity with comprehensive design
process including conceptual development, physical design, support
to procurement and manufacturing.Work within a broader engineering
team, capable of communicating across functional boundaries to
solve problems and achieve common goals.Familiar with standard
manufacturing practices for the efficient fabrication of mechanical
components and assemblies.Electro-Mechanical Packaging
experienceAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly
changing environment.Strong understanding of GD&T in accordance
with ASME Y14.5Good written, verbal, and virtual communication
skills.Proficient using PTC CREO Parametric 7.0 or higher and
PDMLinks (Windchill) 11.0 or higher.Active DoD Security
Clearance.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills In addition, or
supplemental to required skills:
Proficient with ASME Y14.5-2009
GD&T, Military Standards, ASME Standards, Creo and PDMLinks
(Windchill). Experience with Dassault Systemes 3D Experience
PLM.History of leading small design teams while effectively
communicate across program functional teams.an Associates Degree in
Mechanical Design/Drafting, CAD or equivalent.Pay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
