The EM pulsed power interference and compatibility products being constructed will help the defense, testing, and commercial industries prepare for threats, and you could be the one to do it!

Applied Physical Electronics, L.C., a designer and manufacturer of high-power electronics for the defense industry, is looking for a CNC Machinist to join their team in Spicewood, TX.

  • Read and interpret machining blueprints and sketches.
  • Saw cut and prepare stock for machining.
  • Setup of both CNC lathes and mills.
  • Setup and indicate fixtures and work piece as required.
  • Machine jaws & fixtures to achieve part orientation required by drawing.
  • Indicate work pieces to vary concentricity, flatness, orientation etc.
  • Complete machining operations and adjust tool wear offsets to achieve required dimensions.
  • Quickly resolve common machining issues.
  • Complete setup, machining, and inspection on low quantity orders.
  • Write simple programs on your machine, make program edits and work with CNC programmers as needed to complete operations.
