Job Description:
A company is looking for an Underwriting Associate to support
the underwriting team by processing and managing insurance-related
tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, review, and enter rating information to provide quotes for
new business and renewals
Contact agents for missing information and develop relationships to
promote new accounts
Review and process endorsements and participate in writing new
business for basic accounts
Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
One year of underwriting support experience
Keyboarding speed of 40 wpm with accurate data entry
Proficiency in Microsoft Word
General knowledge of insurance terminology preferred
