Up to $35,000 Sign-On bonus for experienced Registered Nurse / RN
POSITION SUMMARY
Under minimal supervision, provides nursing care for a group of patients assigned to the nurse based on matching the patients' needs with the nurse' competencies. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited school of nursing.PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: NonePREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Two years in acute care. Previous clinical nursing experience in med/surg, telemetry or ICUREQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State License for Registered NursePREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: REQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR):

• 
  
• BLS required for all units-Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network.
  
• ACLS required for Adult Critical Care, Telemetry, Interim Critical Care units within 6 months of date of hire or transfer date into unit
  
• PALS required for PICU within 6 months of date of hire or transfer date into unit
  
• NRP required for NICU within 6 months of date of hire or transfer date into unit
  
• S.T.A.B.L.E. for NICU- Level 2 Nursery-Must provide proof of prior completion or obtain within 6 months of hire or transfer date into unit (Renewal is not required)
