Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced welder to join our team at Morgan Truck Body LLC, a leading manufacturer of truck bodies in North America. As a welder, you will be responsible for operating a variety of welding equipment and working on aluminum, steel, and galvanneal materials.Key Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and weld metals according to customer or employer requirements
• Operate heavy equipment such as saws and perform set up of machines and preventative maintenance as required
• Examine created welds to check for defects/flaws and perform safety and quality checks
• Ability to learn and perform different methods of welding to obtain certificationsRequirements
  • Must be able to pass a weld test and be proficient in three or more of the welding materials: mild steel, galvanneal, carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel
  • Must have 6 years of welding experience or more and basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills
  • Able to understand and comprehend measurement and read and interpret blueprints for special applicationsPreferred Qualifications
    • Previous experience in manufacturing and working on truck bodies
    • High School Diploma or equivalent GEDWork EnvironmentThis job operates in a manufacturing plant environment. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
