Senior Java Developer - 12+ Yrs Experience RequiredLocation: Austin, TX, United StatesJob Duration: 9+ MonthsJob Description:Our Direct Client is seeking an experienced, full-time, on-site, dedicated Candidate, with skills and expertise as described in the requirements below.Responsibilities:

• Development of new applications and reports.
• Coding for applications with RESTful web services in the middleware that connects to Oracle databases.
• Knowledge and experience working on Applications development with JAVA/J2EE, Spring Frameworks, Spring MVC, JSPs, jQuery, Bootstrap, and IBM WebSphere in an Agile environment.
• Support application enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode.
• Support applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required.
• Available for on-call support as needed.
• Other duties as assigned and required by the unit operations.Skills Required/Desired:
• Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in Java programming language (Required - 7 years)
• Experience in applications development on J2EE platform (Required - 6 years)
• Experience in writing SQL for Oracle relational databases (Required - 6 years)
• Experience in IBM WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere Portal Server (Required - 4 years)
• Experience working on Spring Aspect Oriented Programming like transaction management and security (Required - 4 years)
• Experience in Spring Frameworks and Spring MVC (Required - 4 years)
• Experience with software development using Agile methodology (Required - 4 years)
• Experience with Health and Human Services or other State Agency (Preferred - 2 years)
