Our Medical Telemetry Unit is a 38-bed unit focused on providing a high level of direct and individualized care. This unit affords you with ample learning opportunities with a full spectrum of medical diagnoses and comorbidities. Our Medical Telemetry unit also offers:

We have a varied medical/telemetry population including:
- - - - - - - - - Sepsis
- - - - - - - - - Chest Pain
- - - - - - - - - Patients requiring isolation or admission to negative airflow rooms
- - - - - - - - - Patients requiring skin and wound care- DHFT, PEGs, Wound Vacs
- - - - - - - - - Diagnostic procedures including thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio-cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes.
- - - - - - - - - Nasogastric Insertion and Maintenance
- - - - - - - - - Enteral Feeding Tube Insertion and Maintenance
- - - - - - - - - Patients requiring cardiac monitoring due to chest pain or arrhythmias
- - - - - - - - - Patients with GI abnormalities
- - - - - - - - - Trach care, CBI, IV Therapy

• Grad of an Accredited Program
  
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.
  
• A current and valid nursing license.
  
• Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
