Utilization Management Coordinator

Job Description:

A company is looking for a UM Administration Coordinator 2 to provide non-clinical support for treatment and care services.

Key Responsibilities

Support UM Nurses in processing discharge orders and arranging safe facility discharges
Document calls and requests, and process incoming fax/email requests for services on the same day
Assist with various clerical and administrative tasks as needed and participate in special projects

Required Qualifications

1 or more years of experience with Utilization Review and/or Prior Authorization
1 or more years of healthcare experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Must reside in CST or EST states
Availability to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm EST, with 1 weekend per quarter
