Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to
join the SMB Business Solutions team as the Business Operations
Leader. In this role, you will be a trusted advisor to the
leadership team and help drive a range of multi-disciplinary
operating rhythms and transformation initiatives to help shape,
implement, and manage the organization's operating plan, strategy,
engagement and special projects. Operating rhythms include
development of strategic plans and progress against them, team
composition/evaluation, and team engagement/culture.Job

paid. The SMB Business Solutions team has a mission to expand the
suite of products and services that PayPal provides to SMBs beyond
payments-with a vision of making PayPal the place SMBs come to run
their business holistically. Our team leads the strategy and
commercialization of new offerings in conjunction with product,
engineering, design, marketing and other teams.Your way to impact
- Partner with SMB Business Solutions leadership to define and
drive a strategic vision, along with driving OKR/goals planning and
tracking.
- Support our product leaders in maintaining an up-to-date
product roadmap that ties to the Commercial team's priorities/
KPIs.
- Evolve team operating model including processes to enable
strategic planning, and identify opportunities for simplification
and productivity improvement; Deliver the analysis and associated
actions necessary to enable continuous improvement.
- Deliver spending plans, allocation and oversight processes and
hiring strategies to enable judicious management of Opex dollars
to/below budget, reflecting business priorities.
- Create, implement and drive operating rhythms, relevant
artifacts and team events to enable better communications and
engagement up, down and across functions and teams; Optimize
cadences, drive agendas and prep for internal team rhythms and
management/executive reviews.
- Help build talent and location strategy for the teams.
- Be a thoughtful steward of the cultural values we strive for as

ambassador of enterprise-wide activities.Your day-to-day
- Partner with the VP of SMB Business Services to execute against
the operating rhythm you developed.
- Partner with the Sr. Director of Business Operations for the
SMB business unit to ensure our group is plugged into all corporate
and BU processes and meetings.
- Ensure required deliverables are completed on time and with
high quality; Deliverables include, but are not limited to: 3-Year
Plans, Annual Planning, Organizational Planning (people), QBRs,
MBRs, WBRs, KPI readouts, etc.
- Track key projects that are required for the business to meet
its commitments.
- Partner with Commercial leads to define cross-functional
dependencies and monitor progress against agreed upon
milestones.
- Hold stakeholders accountable to key deliverables, potentially
having tough conversations when deliverables are at risk.
- Identify direct and cross-functional resource needs and
facilitate resource planning discussions to creatively find ways to
close gaps.
- Support third-party risk assessments for key partners.
- Coordinate our team's responses to complex RFPs that extend
beyond one product line or line of business.
- Tackle complex business issues that don't have a clear
owner.What do you need to bring
